About My Easy Calculator
Free, accurate, and research-backed financial calculators for individuals, families, and small businesses — built on official government sources across six countries.
A research team that believes accurate financial information should be free
Our Background
My Easy Calculator was built by a team of financial researchers and developers who saw a consistent problem: the most useful financial calculators were either locked behind paywalls, cluttered with ads, or built on outdated data.
We set out to build something different — tools that are genuinely free, sourced directly from official government publications, and updated the moment regulations change.
Our Commitment
We are not a financial advisory firm. We do not sell financial products. We do not receive payment to influence calculator results.
Our research team monitors regulatory updates across all six countries we cover — including the IRS, CRA, HMRC, ATO, IRD, and Indian GST Portal — and updates calculators before or on the effective date of any change.
What we cover by country
How we build every calculator
Every calculator on My Easy Calculator goes through the same four-step process before it is published — and the same process again whenever regulations change.
Source from official publications
We identify the official government document that defines the formula, rate, or threshold — the IRS publication, the CRA Notice, the HMRC guidance — and link to it directly on the calculator page.
e.g. CRA canada.ca · IRS irs.gov · HMRC gov.ukBuild to match official methodology
Calculation logic is implemented to exactly match the official formula. Where a standard formula is used (e.g. the PMT compound interest formula cited by the US SEC on Investor.gov), we reference it explicitly.
Transparent formula · No hidden logicReview against two independent sources
Every calculator is cross-checked against at least two independent official sources before publication. Results are verified with worked examples against government-published sample calculations where available.
Dual-source verificationUpdate immediately when rules change
When regulations change, the affected calculators are updated before or on the effective date. The "Last Updated" date on every page reflects the last time rates were verified — not just when the page was published.
