You can use every calculator without an account and without giving your name. This policy explains what is collected when you use the site, why, who else receives it, and how to use your rights.

We do not ask for your name, address or any ID to use a calculator. The figures you enter are sent to our server to work out your result and may appear briefly in server logs. Google shows ads on the site and uses cookies to do so, with your consent where the law requires it. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Who we are
This website, myeasycalculator.com, is run by My Easy Calculator ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for personal data collected through the site, which means we decide why and how it is used. For any privacy question or request, email info@myeasycalculator.com.
This policy covers the website, its calculators, guides and downloads, and messages you send us. It does not cover other websites we link to.
What we collect

Calculators never ask for your name, date of birth, address, tax number, account number or any government ID. Please do not type personal identifiers into any field.
How calculator inputs are handled
When you use a calculator, the figures you enter are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server, which calculates the result and sends it back. We do not save your inputs to a database or link them to your identity, and we do not pass them to advertisers.
Our server keeps standard logs, and a calculator request, including the figures sent, can appear in them. Logs are used only to keep the site running, investigate faults and stop abuse, and they are deleted on a rolling basis. On its own, a set of figures such as an income and a province does not identify you.
If you download a PDF or CSV of your result, the file is created on your own device. We do not keep a copy.
Why we use your information
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR we must have a legal basis for each use of personal data. These are ours:

We do not use your data to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not build profiles of you ourselves.
Advertising and Google AdSense
The site is free because it shows ads from Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland see a consent banner from a Google-certified consent tool before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which are based on the page you are reading and your general location, and may use cookies to limit how often an ad appears and to detect fraud.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google's My Ad Center. Elsewhere you can also opt out of personalised ads from many companies at aboutads.info, or in the EU and UK at youronlinechoices.eu. We do not receive information from Google that identifies you, and we cannot see which ads you are shown.
Usage statistics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which calculators and pages are used, so we know what to improve and what to build next. It reports totals and trends, such as page views by country and device type. IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics 4, and where consent is required, analytics only runs after you accept it.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that run the site, and only what each one needs. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the site or its users from fraud or abuse, or to a successor if the website is ever transferred, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
International transfers
Our providers run servers in several countries, including the United States, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where data leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, the providers rely on recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where the provider is certified.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. To use any of them, email info@myeasycalculator.com. We reply within one month, may ask you to confirm your identity first, and do not charge for a reasonable request. Because we collect so little, the main data we may hold about you is an email you sent us.
UK and European Economic Area
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier use. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or the data protection authority where you live, though we would welcome the chance to help first.
California and other US states
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws you can ask what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and ask us to delete or correct it. We do not sell personal information. Advertising cookies may count as "sharing" for cross-context advertising under California law; you can opt out by declining personalised ads in the consent tool or through Google's My Ad Center. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Canada
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Australia
Where the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles apply, you can ask for access to and correction of your personal information, and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with our response.
New Zealand
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for access to and correction of your personal information. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set our own tracking or advertising cookies. Google and Cloudflare set cookies for ads, statistics and security, and two of our pages keep a list of calculators in your browser's session storage to load faster. Each item, what it does and how long it lasts is listed in our Cookie Policy.
Security
Every page and calculator request uses HTTPS encryption. Cloudflare filters malicious traffic before it reaches our server, and we keep WordPress, its plugins and our server code up to date.
No website can be made completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data and the law requires us to tell you or a regulator, we will.
Children
The site is for adults and is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in some European countries. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Calculator pages and guides link to government websites and other sources so you can check our figures. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
Do Not Track signals
There is no agreed standard for browser Do Not Track signals, so the site does not respond to them. The consent banner, Google's My Ad Center and your browser's cookie settings are the ways to control advertising.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way the site handles data changes, for example when we add or remove a provider. The effective date at the top of the page changes with each update. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will say what changed on this page.

No. We do not sell personal information. Google shows ads on the site using cookies, which California law may treat as sharing for advertising, and you can opt out of personalised ads at any time.
Because Google may show personalised ads based on your visits to other sites, if you have allowed it. You can switch this off in the consent banner or at Google's My Ad Center, and you will then see ads based on the page you are reading instead.
Email us with your request. The main personal data we may hold is an email you sent us, which we delete on request. Advertising data is held by Google, which you can manage and delete through your Google account or My Ad Center.
No. There are no accounts, logins or subscriptions, and no calculator asks for your name, contact details or any ID number.
