Use the calculators and guides freely for yourself or your work, check results before you rely on them, and do not copy the site, scrape it or attack it. We provide the site as it is, and our responsibility for losses is limited as far as the law allows.
Agreeing to these terms
By using myeasycalculator.com you agree to these terms, our Disclaimer and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the site. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean My Easy Calculator, the operator of myeasycalculator.com, and "you" means anyone using the site.
What the service is
My Easy Calculator provides free online calculators for tax, pay, employment, property, savings and retirement in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the USA, with guides that explain the rules behind them. Results can be downloaded as PDF or CSV files.
The site is funded by advertising. We may add, change, update or retire any calculator, guide or feature at any time, for example when a government changes a rule or abolishes a scheme.
Estimates, not advice
Calculator results are estimates based on the figures you enter and the official rates for the year shown on each page. They are not financial, tax, legal, investment or accounting advice. The full explanation, including the limits for each country, is in our Disclaimer.
Your responsibilities
- Enter figures carefully and check them against your own records.
- Confirm any important result with the official body or a qualified adviser before you act on it.
- Use the site lawfully and in line with these terms.
- Do not enter other people's personal information, or your own identifiers, into any calculator field.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl or copy the site or its calculators in bulk, or send automated requests to our calculation endpoints under
/api/, except for normal search engine indexing - use the site's content, calculators or outputs to train or feed an AI system or build a competing database without our written permission
- try to bypass, probe or disable our security, including Cloudflare protection and rate limits
- overload the site, interfere with how it works or try to gain access to any part that is not public
- copy, reverse engineer or rebuild our server-side calculation code
- upload or send malicious code, spam or unlawful material
- click ads you are not interested in, or encourage others to, or generate any artificial ad impressions or clicks
- frame the site, or present our calculators or content as your own
We may block access from any person, network or automated system that breaks these rules.
Intellectual property
The site's text, guides, calculator design and code, tables, worked examples, drawings, layout and the My Easy Calculator name and logo belong to us and are protected by copyright and other laws.
Official rates, thresholds and legislation are public information published by governments. We do not claim ownership of them, only of the way we have explained, arranged and built on them.
What you may do
- use the calculators for personal, household or internal business purposes, including for clients
- download, print, save and share your own results
- quote short extracts of a guide with a link back to the page it came from
- link to any page on the site
What needs our permission
Republishing whole pages or guides, embedding or reselling a calculator, or using our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you all need our written permission. Email info@myeasycalculator.com to ask.
Links and third-party services
The site links to government websites and other sources so you can check figures. It also relies on services run by others, such as Google for advertising and Cloudflare for security. We do not control those websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.
Advertising
Ads on the site are served by Google AdSense and labelled Advertisement. An ad is not a recommendation of the product, service or company it shows, and advertisers have no influence over any calculation or content. Any purchase or agreement you make with an advertiser is between you and them.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the site available and the calculators working, but we cannot promise the site will always be online, free of errors or free of interruption. We may suspend the site for maintenance, security or updates without notice.
No warranties
The site, its calculators, results, guides and downloads are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no promise that results are complete, error free or suitable for any particular purpose, and we exclude all warranties and conditions that the law allows us to exclude.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including financial loss, tax penalties or interest, loss of profit, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, whether caused by an error in a calculator, a wrong input, a change in the law or an interruption to the site.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you use the site as a consumer, your statutory rights where you live are not affected.
Suspending access
We may restrict or end your access to the site, without notice, if you break these terms or if we reasonably believe your use puts the site, its users or its advertising at risk.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which My Easy Calculator is operated, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you keep any protection the law of your own country gives you and may be able to bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the site or the law changes. The effective date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. Using the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
General
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms, together with the Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about using the site.
